Verona Motorbike Show January 2020

I'm here in Verona for the Motorbike Show. This is the second time in a few months that I find myself in Northern Italy for work (no bad thing, as Italy is a wonderful country and Italian people are warm and pleasant).

For years, I steered away from this show. I not sure why; probably because being a predominant custom bike show, I thought it wasn't quite my market. However, on two counts, I couldn't have been more wrong. Firstly, we've seen a sharp increase in custom bike product demand - mainly bottom-mount  headlights, grips, indicators and taillights. Secondly, and most surprisingly, there's a very healthy display of scramblers and cafe racers here, and being in Italy, they're all properly pretty. The standard of work here, as like the  Bikeshed show, is at the top of the tree, maybe even higher. Please take time to look at some of the attached photos, which themselves speak volumes.

Now here's a thing.....the people at this show. Yes, you've got the standard fare of Harley club guys, but there's a very big interest in the other products on display, as well as quite a few kids and guys under 30 years old milling around the place. This is very very important, as we as an industry desperately need younger folk to carry the baton once we've stopped riding. The industry's got to carry on and in no small part, it's down to us to make it happen.

In other news, in case you forgot / needed reminding / loved re-reading my blogs, we've (cleverly!) stocked up really well for the beginning of the season at  Alchemy Towers and as a result, have run out of virtually nothing (for the first bloody time ever, may I add). In the last week or so, we've seen a sharp rise in product demand, so if there's anything you've been eyeing up on our site, now's the time to start buying, or at least put it firmly on your radar, so as to avoid disappointment should it sell out due to an unexpected rush.
