EICMA Motorcycle Show 2018 – My Milanese Adventure...PART 2:
OK, so my last blog was about the new machinery on display at this show, but this is about the eclectic mix of customised bikes that, unlike at the Cologne show, wasn’t on display with other customised bikes, but on manufacturer’s stands.
Germany is massively into its customising, hence the slant on that kind of bike at that show, but Italy’s more about new metal for the following year. In saying that, top marks have to go to the Italians, as always, for show design and ingenuity. They blended all areas of motorbike product really well, and even in 2 days, I couldn’t get to see it all. Roll on next year, stick 2 fingers up to this Brexit BS and let’s just crack on with our motorcycling.
On another note...
...Just so you’re aware....we have quite a few trade customers, mainly bike builders and workshops dotted around the place both here in the UK and abroad. Recently, we’ve seen this increase significantly to the point that we’ve now got a dedicated trade application page on our website, click here to view. Assuming you’re in the trade (and we do check!), we’ll set you up as one of our trade customers, entitling you to a trade price on our products when purchasing through the website. It’s that simple, really and allows you the freedom to quickly order something on a last-minute basis. What’s more, we don’t ask our trade customers to sit on stock, or buy bulk, plus there’s no minimum order quantity and we turn orders around very quickly, as long as the order comes in by 2pm, Monday to Friday.
Hope this helps,
Roy
